Cutting the Cord that Depletes Your Vision
Creating a more harmonious inner world.
Super moon in Aries means we’re integrating Libran themes with Aries themes, but on steroids.
We’re attempting to merge the need to relate diplomatically with the collective drive to go your own way. And develop awareness of what you as an individual need, in order to create a more harmonious inner world.
To do that, you have to face what’s making it hard to NOT be at war with yourself.
First things first — we need that awareness, no matter how explosive in nature it might be.
Full moon’s provide that energy. Add the perigee effect and the exposure is expanded. The influence of water — feeling — collectively becomes more intense.
These are Hot feelings. You’re steamed — he’s steamed — we’re all steamed for spirited dreams.
The gravitational pull of the moon is strongest at perigee, as the moon is closest to the earth.
Simply put, this makes for a bigger movement within the emotional realms.
The tides are stronger during a perigee moon, churning up previously dormant issues within the deep sediment of inner sands.
Something really needs to be revealed during a super moon.
It’s maximum awareness related to a certain theme. With Aries involved, it’s related to aligning with our sense of purpose, & being determined to pursue the spark of spirit.
This is a moon that can reveal how you feel when what you’re determined to pursue isn’t working out so well.
It can also expose issues around being first, being left out, moving too fast on things that take Time, conflict, disjointed loyalty, & the competitive impulse.
Chiron is conjunct the Moon in Aries
This speaks to deeply painful feelings of rejection — shame infused — linked to the unconscious drive to be first.
And deeper still, not wanting to be left out of something that matters to you.
It’s as if every experience where you’re not considered is translated within the psyche as an indicator of you being bad, or wrong.
Where’s the narrative that includes someone else’s choice — their right — to do or say or behave in a certain way?
You might feel a sense of loyalty to someone, but they could have a hard time returning the favor if you’re initiating the connection hell bent on being in the lead. And possibly to avoid feeling shameful for being driven, which can lead to rejection.
Some folks are threatened by what lies beyond an agenda of passivity.
It’s a potential inner terror/trauma that if you’re left out, or ignored, it means you’re the worst — something to feel ashamed of, at your core.
It’s not true, it’s a feeling.
You might get some insight into how this pattern began, and how to do it differently. Generally we call this kind of stuff narcissistic wounding, which is a collective theme right now for a reason.
We have to see the way we make someone else’s choice all about us.
Hating on narcissistic behaviors? What a waste of vital life force. Everyone has this issue to some extent.
If you were 2 years old at some point in time, you’ll have some degree of unconscious complex related to feeling that you weren’t considered — that you weren’t included and it wasn’t fair. Especially if you weren’t mothered the way you needed to be. IE your mother was human.
We need mothers — and we need them to be holistically well.
This kind of struggle around feeling rejected obviously brings up issues in current relationships. We repeat our mother complexes in all other relationships. It’s a pattern that sticks, and in some cases the instinctual response to relate in this way never leaves.
But awareness makes it less powerful.
We start to evolve by way of noticing what we’re doing, rather than automatically behaving in a certain way.
Around the full moon, you could experience rough seas around being the one in the lead.
If you’re prone to being dominant, the one who knows more, you might feel you have more power. And that might help you skip over feelings radiating from moments when you were left out of the equation — not considered. Treated poorly, or not acknowledged for existing.
Consider if that lands true for you in some way.
Make some room for pain to exist, so it can tell you the story of how this fear of being last, left behind, or not being considered is driving you to make fear-led choices in your relationships. And possibly f***ing them up.
We’re in relationship with life, not just to people.
Also remember that you’re meant to f*** up some relationships, so you can deviate hard from the path that isn’t leading you toward your spirit-led destination.
It’s a bit scary, but we’re all there with you. We are all being compelled to explore this kind of terror & territory.
Courage is the way.
Intra-psychically exposing & then exploring this complex dynamic of being included/excluded, and the reasons why or why not this may be occurring in the days, perhaps the week leading up to full moon / super moon is a strong possibility for the courageously-inclined human.
You can get some ideas about how this pain has been running the show.
Then you get to decide what you’ll do about it — what your options are.
Self wisdom has power over people-pleasing.
So, what’s the medicine? Maybe you leave something out of the equation moving forward, so you can honor & be loyal to your individual essence.
Or perhaps you need a new relationship strategy, so whatever is draining you isn’t within your quality world, full time.
A sword, when used ceremonially, is a spiritual tool.
If the daily ritual of relating has not been nurturing; if there are energies being welcomed in on a consistent basis that are cajoling you to emotionally abandon yourself, this is a time to strategically consider the run off of such choices. To seal those holes.
This is a time to realize you have a choice to make — a non-negotiable one.
You can leave something out — a concept, a way of seeing yourself & your potential, a person, place, business or activity that depletes you — so you can make room for upcoming important decisions that affect your livelihood — body, mind, soul, relationships, work and money.
The need to feel accepted as you are, by you, for you, matters.
I’m not saying clear the slate. Wiping off part of it could be necessary, though. At the very least, considered. See what insights the full moon in Aries brings with it.
Be open to what comes through this week.
Consider the power you have to formulate a vision of change, one that supports you daring to go forth as you. Even when fears of being rejected are activated.
Developing respect for the need to be left out of some things, so you can move toward the things you were made for is an act of healing, and a method of wisdom acquisition.
Believe in that.
The Mars & Pluto Connection
This combination suggests an unearthing during the Aries super moon period, which will erupt with greater intensity in the near future. Oct 22nd could rhyme, but nearing Nov 1st is the real hot button.
Awareness of a previously hidden conflict arrives, forcing us to face control issues & associated fears.
This mass influence reveal or crisis of will is steering us toward taking a non-negotiable action, in loyalty to what we feel passionate about.
The more we resist the need to use our inner sword, to end something that has run its course or limits our capacity to blaze our own trail, the more anger builds up.
We have more choices than we may think or assert that we do.
Still, it might not feel that way. It rarely does when unconscious elements of the psyche surface. We have little relationship with them, so they feel very foreign — like an enemy combatant.
Conditioning tells us things that aren’t true.
Courage is required to face our inner contents, and Mars & Pluto energy is giving us access to that.
This energetic profile suggest the potential to channel our ambition & competitive instincts into something worthy of our loyalty.
It can feed us & propel our disciplined efforts toward the future.
This is strength, birthed from a crisis.
We may feel motivated to use attack as the best form of defense over the next two weeks. We can do better than that. But whatever occurs, there is resiliency involved. You rise up after you’ve gone to battle.
We have to take responsibility for integrating the anger-factor.
Owning what we do with the anger-impulse, and how we use power & control to compensate for feeling vulnerable out in the world is important work.
Not feeling successful enough, or lacking the tenacity and drive to do the work related to what we feel a bit obsessive about achieving can send out a bugle call to the forces of inner rage.
Such a big hill to climb. So much work to do still. But tenacity like this leads to achievement, often of the things you’re destined to do.
Unless you’re trying to achieve to compensate for not feeling wanted.
Hard to face how cut off we can be, from our own basic needs. Hard to face how we’ve been unfairly held back.
Hard to witness how we’ve been lying to ourselves.
But once we see it, we can work on not doing it to ourselves in the future.
Awareness of inner psychological constructs associated with time, work, domination, and respect-earning — how we use authority in our lives and relationships, for better or worse — can be revealed with great intensity now.
There is the fierce potential to cut the cord with finality — striving forward, as independently as we can from the past, (think crescent moon — one foot in the past, one in the future) — particularly in relation to power struggles & infighting due to competition — “I want to be on top! I want to be the best!”
Unwavering will can be channeled into a multitude of actions.
We can face what’s depleting our inner reserves, and access a true power source in the process; we can also fanatically strive to cover something up that makes us feel weak, and become ruthless in our pursuit to avoid the reveal.
We can’t rule out violence.
Don’t put yourself in risky physical situations at this time. There’s power & strength, and there’s being blindly led by rage, and making poor choices because you feel dis empowered.
This is a collective energy — we don’t know how other people will react to feelings of terror or a lack of emotional control.
Leading with unprocessed rage takes us to dangerous places.
Don’t give yourself a bruise that won’t go away. Notice the capacity for extreme, irrational acts of aggression, toward yourself & others.
It’s serious, this energy. Take responsibility for the energy that may rise up. Even if it was ancestrally seeded. What lives within you needs tending to, so it doesn’t keep shooting out, into the collective sphere.
It may be due to a lack of nurturance.
You went without something you needed, which held you back.
That’s hard to make amends with. Difficult to face. Feels very limiting, like you’ve been controlled. Because you have been.
This type of reveal alone can inspire a lot of rage, which you might want to direct at someone else. Perhaps someone who seems to have worked through this kind of stuff, and is successful at the very thing you want to be successful at.
It matters that you offer yourself the compassion you need when you get pulled into Envy.
To get through intense psychological experiences like these, you need self-focused kindness — lot’s of it.
You might have gotten a late start, but everyone got a late start at something.
(I also want to offer this bit: if you feel envious of someone else’s success, chances are there’s something about what they are doing that you’re meant to do. And you’re not letting yourself do it. This is how I got into trading, which transformed my relationship with money. I envied the freedom, so I went after it for myself.)
Separating from what’s depleting your inner need for nurturing & your external desire for achievement is part and parcel to future independence from the past participle movement.
AKA an obsession with what’s BEEN as opposed to a passionate focus on WHAT COULD BE.
So yeah — a lot of potentials during this full moon in Aries.
Consider the life force within the frustration — the teachable moments — the wisdom.
Fire is a source of spirit. And it’s ensuing emotional landscape has something to tell us about our need to be loyal to our greater purpose.
FINAL THOUGHTS, IN HONOR OF VESTA
The asteroid Vesta is near & dear to me. Where she moves in the cosmos, I tend to pay special attention.
Vesta asks us to light our inner fire, honor the flame, and ensure it never goes out.
It’s an archetype that asks us to unite with and respect our inner world — our inner family — so that we may become whole unto ourselves.
In Virgo, Vesta is in a tight inconjunct with the super moon.
This aspect means we’re called to do it differently. But it can sometimes be difficult to realize the potential alive in this choice, that we nonetheless need to make.
We’re trying to reconcile two seemingly irreconcilable realities.
With Virgo, we may feel we need to change ourselves — that it’s not OK to just be, as we are.
We can feel the want to purify, cleanse, organize and order our external life. And potentially get snippy at other people who seem to be too chaotic in their daily existence. This want to point out what needs to be fixed is directly correlated to how disordered our inner world may be.
We’ll ramp up the noticing and pointing out of the messes out there, the more intensely we sense the burgeoning chaos within.
So the flame of Vesta in Virgo is linked to habitual perfecting practices. Every day, you get up and ensure the inner fire is going, and that it is supported in staying lit.
What are some ways you can keep your inner fire alive? What are some ways that are putting the fire out? What can you adjust day to day, to restrict the dampening of the fire?
Be open to incoming ideas as to how you might develop more loyalty to your inner world moving forward. Creating a more accepting relationship with its contents.
This type of aspect hints at new possibilities. A different perspective on how we relate to our habitual existence can drastically transform the way we relate to all of life — our relationship to everything is influenced by our relationship to our inner world.
Think adjustment. The resolution is best handled by identifying the basic needs of each seemingly irreconcilable reality, and looking for non-stressful activities that draw on both their strengths.
